Title: Psychiatrist
Description: The primary role of the Psychiatrist will be to provide trauma-informed, patient-centered, culturally competent and affirming care to a diverse patient population within an LGBTQIA+ health center. The Psychiatrist will be an integral part of a mental health team embedded in a physical health center.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively in a team-based environment with other mental health clinicians, staff, and primary care providers.
- Assess patients by conducting psychiatric evaluations.
- Analyze data and results of screening tools to assist in diagnosing patients and evaluating treatment response.
- Diagnose mental health disorders, provide recommendations for treatment, and prescribe medications when indicated.
- Provide follow-up for monitoring symptoms and treatment response.

Description: In this role, the RN is to travel each day to different facilities and patient homes to test and treat for Hepatitis C.

- Traveling each day to a different Addiction Recovery facility in PA to offer Hepatitis C, HIV and STD point of care testing & linkage to care services.
- Be a self-motivated individual eager to talk and engage with all addiction recovery patients and staff at each facility.
- Educating staff & patients on the importance of being tested and cured for Hepatitis C and treated for HIV & STD’s.
- Complete the necessary paperwork (consent forms, etc.) with each patient before testing.
- Excellent phlebotomy skills.
- Draw labs through phlebotomy as ordered, properly labeling samples, and delivering labs to office or a local drop off facility each day.
- Attempt to test all patients in the facility each visit, this is done by education, and engagement of all patients and staff each day.

5. Department: Clinic (Erie)
Title: Registered Nurse
Description: The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform general nursing duties to support our providers and clinical staff to ensure the clinic is running smoothly and the patients are seen timely. The Clinic nurse will also contact patients with test results (STI, labs, etc.) and coordinate treatment and care. In this role, the RN exhibits a professional attitude in dealing with our patients and staff at all times.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Management of all positive STI results and treatments
- Notify patients of positive and abnormal results and coordinate treatment and care ASAP.
- Receive and respond to patient email inquiries regarding different medical services
- Collaborate with the lab to ensure results reported to the state and local health departments properly
- Handle lab specimens properly and ensure they are labeled, etc, for processing.
- Triage incoming faxing for our medical providers
- Room patients as needed.
- Take patient vitals, perform phlebotomy, and wound dressing, injections for patients when needed.
- Review labs and explain results to patients.
- Complete clearance letters for top/bottom surgery
- Complete letters for patients to return to work
- Triage phone incoming patient phone calls
- Support providers with any assigned duties, i.e., prescription refills etc.
- Understand and Educate patients on HARM reduction techniques.

6. Department: Medical Assistant / Outreach(Columbus)
Title: Medical Assistant/Outreach/Club (Part Time)
Description: The Outreach Coordinator will go into an all-men’s club and do outreach under the supervision of the Outreach Registered Nurse to do STI testing, give out condoms and marketing materials for Central Outreach Wellness Center and maintain connectivity between the club and local small businesses and Central Outreach Wellness Center.
General Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect patient health history
- Counsel and educate patients and their families on treatment plans pertaining to HCV, HIV, STI’s, MAT and Narcan training
- Understand and educate patients on HARM reduction techniques, administer medication
- Performing administrative tasks, such as creating patient charts and ordering supplies
- Draw blood and label appropriately
- Chart short description of each visit for Provider or MA visit
- Perform phlebotomy
- Obtain vitals including height, weight, BP, pain level, pulse, and respiratory rate
- Obtain labs as ordered – properly label samples with the first initial, last name, and birthdate as confirmed with the patient
- Collect samples including urine, throat swab and rectal swab as ordered
- Any other tasks need to be done by the Medical Assistant
- Help patients apply for insurance and medical assistance for our patient population
